  1. At 3:45 p.m. Monday Omaha Police responded to the Nebraska Medical Center to investigate a cutting. Officers made contact with the victim, 19-year-old Brandon Moreno-Benitez, who said he met a male at a residence in the 5700 block of North 39th Street to purchase gaming equipment. The suspect, a black male in his teens, attempted to take money from Moreno-Benitez and then stabbed him. The victim's injuries are not life threatening. The investigation is ongoing. Upon arrival, officers met with a male victim who had puncture wounds to his leg and stated he was stabbed in the leg while waling along the Southbound side of US-75 by an unknown person.     Council Bluffs man stabs neighbor

    Stabbing 2100 Block of 3rd Ave At around 10: 50 pm 2 males were injured in a stabbing, One was stabbed multiple times to his abdomen and the other had cuts to his hand and elsewhere. 1 male was transported with serious injuries. CSI Was present and photographed the male pictured below, his hands and elsewhere for documentation. UPDATE: Our source tells us this was a neighbor dispute that has been going on for a while.   4. Omaha Police responded to the Mega Saver at 1357 Northwest Radial Highway at 8:18 p.m. Monday to investigate a cutting. Officers spoke with the victim, 34-year-old Bekhzad Radzhadov, who said the suspect shoplifted multiple cell phones and attempted to flee the store on foot. Radzhadov confronted the suspect and grabbed the phones. The suspect then stabbed Radzhadov multiple times and fled on foot to the northeast.   5. At 2:14 pm, Officers responded to 7905 Potter Plz for a cutting. Upon arrival officers made contact with a male victim who stated he was stabbed by his sister during a disturbance over property. Officers located the male, 44 year old Greggory WHITEDRESS, suffering from apparent cutting injuries. WHITEDRESS was transported to the Nebraska Medical Center where it was determined his injuries were non-life-threatening. While Officers were investigating they learned that another victim had walked into CHI Creighton Hospital with cutting injuries.   7. At 1:59 pm Officers responded to Extended Stay America at 9006 Burt St for a fight disturbance. Upon arrival Officers contacted the suspect, Carrie MARION (06/22/70) who had stabbed the victim. The victim, 33 year old female Princess HOLMES was transported to Methodist Hospital by private vehicle. HOLMES was then transferred to the Nebraska Medical Center where it was determined her injuries were non-life-threatening. MARION was arrested without incident and booked into Douglas County Corrections for 2nd Degree Felony Assault and Use of a Weapon to Commit a Felony.
  8. On Saturday, December 19th, 2020 at 5:41 pm Officers responded to 2557 Ida St for a cutting. Upon arrival Officers located a victim suffering from apparent cutting injuries. The victim, 28 year old male, Tariq BROWN was transported by ambulance to the Nebraska Medical Center where it was determined his injuries were non-life-threatening. The suspect was located on scene and arrested without incident. The suspect, Niki BROWN (12/28/85) was booked into Douglas County Corrections for Second Degree Felony Domestic Violence Assault after being treated for her minor cutting injuries.
  9. Omaha Police responded to Lutheran Home Apartments, 530 South 26th Street at 10:39 p.m. Tuesday to investigate a cutting. Officers located the victim, 62-year-old Mathew Wilder. OFD medics transported Wilder to the Nebraska Medical Center in serious condition with non-life threatening injuries. Officers located the suspect, 65-year-old Donald Johnson in a nearby apartment. Officers booked Johnson at Douglas County Corrections for 2nd-degree assault, use of a weapon to commit a felony and carrying a concealed weapon.
  10. At 12:02 pm, Officers responded to 2444 Krug Ave for a cutting. Upon arrival, Officers located a male victim who suffered from a small puncture wound to his chest. The victim stated he was stabbed by a long time girlfriend. The female suspect was transported and booked into Douglas County Corrections for 2nd Degree Assault and Use of a Weapon to commit a felony.   11. Council Bluffs Police were called to 128 Glen Ave for a stabbing around 4 a.m. where 2 people, one male and one female were stabbed in the early morning hours of Tuesday in Council Bluffs. One male was stabbed in the neck and was located near the 100 block of Glen Ave. One female was stabbed in the abdomen and was taken to Mercy by private transportation. Conditions are unknown of both victims. Council Bluffs Police may have information on the suspect. Metro News Now will release more information once we learn more.

Upon arrival Officers contacted the victim, 66 year old Danny COOPER who said that he had been cut by his girlfriend, Katherine SPEEKS (02/10/70) during an argument. COOPER was treated and released on scene by Omaha Fire Department Medics. SPEEKS was arrested without incident and booked into Douglas County Corrections for Domestic Violence 2nd Degree Felony Assault Use of a Weapon to Commit a Felony Misdemeanor Failure to Appear warrant.     Omaha man cuts both his parents in knife attack

    Cutting-10015 Military Plz At 5:45 pm Officers responded to 10015 Military Plz for a cutting. Upon arrival Officers located the victim, 53 year old Thomas MITCHELL suffering from apparent cutting injuries. Officers spoke with the victim, and the victim's spouse, 50 year old Darlene OWENS-MITCHELL who was also suffering from minor cutting injuries. Officers learned that OWENS-MITCHELL's son, Joshua DAVIS (08/20/1991) had become angry and attacked MITCHELL with a knife.   14. On Sunday, November 29, 2020 at 12:30 a.m. an off-duty officer working at Guaca Maya, 5002 South 33rd Street, advised that a person has been cut. Additional officers arrived. OFD medics arrived and transported the victim, 28-year-old Juan Garcia, to the Nebraska Medical Center in critical condition. His injuries are not believed to be life threatening. The victim stated he picked up an unknown Hispanic female to give her a ride. After a period of time the victim stated the suspect eventually brandished a knife and cut the victim after an altercation. The suspect fled on foot after the altercation. Medics transported the victim to the Nebraska Medical Center with non life threatening injuries.   17. At 4:01 am Officers responded to 12836 Deauville Dr for a cutting. Upon arrival Officers contacted the victim, Jeffery MANTZURIS (7/15/66) suffering from a cutting injury. MANTZURIS said he was inside an apartment asleep and awoke to the suspect attacking him. MANTZURIS realized he had been cut and ran from the apartment. MANTZRIS was transported by ambulance to Bergan Mercy Hospital where it was determined his injuries were non-life-threatening. Officers located the apartment at 12776 Gail Plz #216. Upon arrival Officers contacted 3 victims, Eduardo GUERRERO (09/28/95), Agustin GUERRERO (11/26/92), and Luis GUERRERO (01/03/97). All 3 said that they were at Patron Bar at 6801 Railroad Ave when a fight broke out and everyone was kicked out. The fight continued outside the bar in the street.     Cutting at 2114 Grand Avenue Omaha, Ne

    On Tuesday night at 8:32 p.m. Omaha Police responded to 2114 Grand Avenue to investigate a cutting. When officers arrived they located two victims, 47-year-old James Tucker and 41-year-old December Sherman, on the front porch of the residence. The victims advised that they were visiting Tucker's nephew Alfred Tucker, who was with his girlfriend KiKi. At some point Alfred and KiKi began to argue. James Tucker attempted to intervene, at which point KiKi stabbed him with a knife. Sherman then attempted to help, and KiKi also stabbed her. KiKi fled the residence on foot before officers arrived.

Upon arrival Officers found the victim, 26 year old male Michael DAVIS suffering from apparent cutting injuries. DAVIS was transported by ambulance to The Nebraska Medical Center where it was determined his injuries were non-life-threatening. Officers detained a female suspect at the scene.     Cutting at 114th and Dodge Street, Omaha, Ne

    Omaha Police responded to 114th and Dodge Street at 2:46 a.m. Sunday to investigate a cutting. While officers were en route to the scene, the victim was transported by private vehicle to CUMC-Bergan Mercy Hospital. Officers discovered that the victim, 19-year-old Jose Tapia, was involved in a disturbance at DeLeon's. The disturbance continued outside in the parking lot.     At 2:23 am Officers responded to Lakeside Hospital at 16901 Lakeside Hills for a cutting. Upon arrival Officers contacted the victim, 28 year old male, Tevin MILLER, who said he was cut at an unknown location.     Cutting at 1700 Clark Street Omaha, Ne

    Omaha Police responded to the area of 17th and Clark Street at 11:09 p.m. Tuesday to investigate a cutting. Upon arrival officers located 60-year-old Victor Daniels suffering from a puncture wound. The investigation revealed that Daniels was involved in a verbal altercation with a black female that escalated into a physical fight. When the fight concluded, Daniels discovered that he had been stabbed. OFD medics transported Daniels to the Nebraska Medical Center with a non-life threatening injury. The investigation is ongoing.
