  1. At 3:45 p.m. Monday Omaha Police responded to the Nebraska Medical Center to investigate a cutting. Officers made contact with the victim, 19-year-old Brandon Moreno-Benitez, who said he met a male at a residence in the 5700 block of North 39th Street to purchase gaming equipment. The suspect, a black male in his teens, attempted to take money from Moreno-Benitez and then stabbed him. The victim's injuries are not life threatening. The investigation is ongoing.   3. At 1:01 am Officers responded to nature unknown call at 3857 Vinton St. Upon arrival Officers found the victim, 56-year-old female Maria ALONSO-ROSALES suffering from apparent cutting injuries. She was transported by ambulance to the Nebraska Medical Center where it was determined her injuries were non-life-threatening. The suspect was located on scene and arrested without incident. Jose TORRES (04/02/62) was booked into Douglas County Corrections for Domestic Violence Felony Assault.

Upon arrival Officers contacted the victim, 29 year old Jacob CUNNINGHAM suffering from an apparent cutting injury. Through the course of the investigation Officers learned that the cutting occurred at 1722 Van Kamp Ave. CUNNINGHAM was transported to the Nebraska Medical Center where it was determined his injuries were non-life-threatening.   6. Omaha, Ne -- Omaha Police responded to 7500 North Ridge Drive at 9:12 a.m. Thursday to investigate a domestic violence assault. Officers spoke with the victim, 35-year-old Jack Payne, who said he was involved in an argument with his girlfriend at an apartment 4005 Hartman Circle. The argument escalated and the suspect stabbed Payne with a kitchen knife. Officers did not locate the suspect. The investigation is ongoing.   7. Omaha Police responded to 4153 Hamilton Street at 2:44 a.m. Tuesday to investigate a cutting. Officers found the victim, 19-year-old Arianna Stout at a nearby residence. Stout told officers that her boyfriend struck her with a bat and cut her with a knife. The suspect fled in Stout's car. OFD medics transported Stout to the Nebraska Medical Center with non-life threatening injuries. The investigation is ongoing.   8. Omaha Police responded to the Nebraska Medical Center at 12:45 a.m. Sunday to investigate a report of two cutting victims arriving at the hospital. Officers spoke with 31-year-old Jorge Flores and 35-year-old Christian Portillo. Both victims stated they were injured during a large fight at Azul Sports Bar at 5132 L Street. Both victims were cut, possibly by broken bottles. Their injuries are not life threatening. The investigation is ongoing.   9. At 1:57 am officers responded to 3747 N 45th St for a cutting. Upon arrival Officers contacted the victim, 21 year old, Chalecia TROTTER, who was suffering from apparent cutting injuries. TROTTER said that she was cut while attending a party at 3344 Larimore Ave. Trotter was transported to the Nebraska Medical Center where it was determined her injuries were non-life-threatening.   10. Omaha Police responded to 3740 North 42nd Street at 10:05 p.m. Monday to investigate a domestic disturbance. Officers found the victim, 67-year-old Carl Gunnels, and the suspect, 52-year-old Lisa Collins. Officers discovered that both parties were involved in a verbal argument that escalated when Collins stabbed Gunnels with a kitchen knife. Officers took Collins into custody and booked her at Douglas County Corrections for felony domestic violence assault and use of a weapon to commit a felony.   11. Omaha Police responded to the Mega Saver at 1357 Northwest Radial Highway at 8:18 p.m. Monday to investigate a cutting. Officers spoke with the victim, 34-year-old Bekhzad Radzhadov, who said the suspect shoplifted multiple cell phones and attempted to flee the store on foot. Radzhadov confronted the suspect and grabbed the phones. The suspect then stabbed Radzhadov multiple times and fled on foot to the northeast.   12. Omaha Police responded to 5606 North 44th Street at 10:59 p.m. Sunday to investigate a cutting. Officers determined that 27-year-old Justin Morrison and 32-year-old Brittany Dehart were arguing when Dehart cut Morrison with a knife. Morrison's injuries were minor. There were two children present during the incident. Dehart attempted to kick an officer while she was being escorted to a cruiser.   13. Omaha Police responded to 2409 Evans Street at 4:04 p.m. Sunday to investigate a domestic disturbance. When officers arrived they located 59-year-old Eli McCreary with a laceration. McCreary declined medical treatment. McCreary told officers that his ex-girlfriend cut him with a kitchen knife during an argument. The suspect fled the scene before officers arrived. The investigation is ongoing.

Officers located the male, 44 year old Greggory WHITEDRESS, suffering from apparent cutting injuries. Officers arrived and located the victim, 22-year-old Michael Butler Jr. OFD medics transported Butler to CUMC - Bergan Mercy Hospital in serious condition with a non-life threatening injury. Officers later made contact with the suspect, 19-year-old Bria Long. After interviewing Long, officers transported her to Douglas County Corrections and booked her for domestic violence 2nd-degree assault and use of a weapon to commit a felony.

    Cutting at 1603 Ave E in Council Bluffs

    Council Bluffs, Ia -- Around 1p.m. a cutting was reported at 1603 Ave E in Council Bluffs. Upon arrival Metro News Now noticed a man showing CBPD a large cut on his stomach. The male victim didn't require medical assistance. The suspect, a male wearing a fatigue designed coat fled on foot and was not found after a search by Council Bluffs Police.
  22. Council Bluffs, Ia -- Around 2:30 a.m. Council Bluffs Police were called to a large disturbance with about 10 people involved. As Police approached the area they could here the disturbance from a couple of blocks away. Soon after arrival Council Bluffs Police called for more units and medics for a female who had lacerations. The female with lacerations refused medical attention. Northgate Apartments has had several of these types of disturbances this year. Council Bluffs Police also has had their fair share of service calls to this complex for various reasons in 2020.
  23. At 1:59 pm Officers responded to Extended Stay America at 9006 Burt St for a fight disturbance. Upon arrival Officers contacted the suspect, Carrie MARION (06/22/70) who had stabbed the victim. The victim, 33 year old female Princess HOLMES was transported to Methodist Hospital by private vehicle. HOLMES was then transferred to the Nebraska Medical Center where it was determined her injuries were non-life-threatening. MARION was arrested without incident and booked into Douglas County Corrections for 2nd Degree Felony Assault and Use of a Weapon to Commit a Felony.
  24. On Saturday, December 19th, 2020 at 5:41 pm Officers responded to 2557 Ida St for a cutting. Upon arrival Officers located a victim suffering from apparent cutting injuries. The victim, 28 year old male, Tariq BROWN was transported by ambulance to the Nebraska Medical Center where it was determined his injuries were non-life-threatening. The suspect was located on scene and arrested without incident. The suspect, Niki BROWN (12/28/85) was booked into Douglas County Corrections for Second Degree Felony Domestic Violence Assault after being treated for her minor cutting injuries.
  25. Omaha Police responded to Lutheran Home Apartments, 530 South 26th Street at 10:39 p.m. Tuesday to investigate a cutting. Officers located the victim, 62-year-old Mathew Wilder. OFD medics transported Wilder to the Nebraska Medical Center in serious condition with non-life threatening injuries. Officers located the suspect, 65-year-old Donald Johnson in a nearby apartment. Officers booked Johnson at Douglas County Corrections for 2nd-degree assault, use of a weapon to commit a felony and carrying a concealed weapon.
