Council Bluffs, Ia -- 2/15/2021 Around 5 pm, Omaha Police dispatch received a 3rd party call from a caller that stated someone showed up with a signal 32 (gun) at the residence of 3449 2nd Ave and demanded a large amount of money. Council Bluffs, Ia -- Around 11:15 pm Council Bluffs Fire and Rescue responded to a camper fire at 1821 28th Ave. While firefighters were enroute dispatch informed them the camper had ammunition and propane tanks in it exploding. Metro News Now was told police were not looking for a suspect. The male who was shot was transported to UNMC in Omaha, Ne. The condition of the man is unknown.   13. Council Bluffs, Ia -- Around 4am a man was struck by a vehicle at 16th and G in Council Bluffs. A witness told 911 that a gray mini-van hit a pedestrian on 16th and G and fled. The mini-van fled North towards Walmart according to the witness.   14. Sarpy County Jail -- Ryan Linehan, the man who barricaded himself into an excavator in Council Bluffs Friday is now booked into the Sarpy County Jail. Law enforcement attempted to serve a Warrant Friday morning to Linehan for sexual assault against a child and child abuse. Linehan could face additional charges in Council Bluffs for his stand-off. Pottawattamie County is now reviewing their options to charge Linehan. Linehan did use a weapon to shoot himself in the jaw. Linehan also isn't allowed to be in possession of a firearm.     Council Bluffs Walgreens robbed at knife point

    Officers were dispatched to 2508 West Broadway St, Walgreens, in reference to a Robbery. Officers were informed that an unknown black male, wearing a black hooded coat, gray sweatpants, black facemask and white shoes, entered the store and walked to the back. The male then went to the register and grabbed a bag of Cheetos. He then went around the counter and took a knife out of his pocket and told the clerk to open the drawer and put the money in a bag. Council Bluffs Police say the Cube Ultra Lounge violated the mask mandate. This is the third time the Cube Ultra Lounge has been cited for violating the Governors proclamation.   17. Council Bluffs, Ia -- 2/5/2021 New details emerge from the stand off between Council Bluffs Police, the US Marshals and an excavator operator wanted for a warrant out of Sarpy County. US Marshals and Council Bluffs Police Officers located and started surveilling Ryan D. Linehan (40 yrs old, Omaha resident) as he was operating a large construction excavator, near the intersection of East Kanesville and Baughn St. Linehan was wanted for a felony warrant issued in Sarpy County Nebraska. During that meeting a local resident said that he felt the Cube was over-serving customers.   20. Council Bluffs, Ia -- Friday evening around 11:45 pm a woman was injured when she was assaulted inside Lipstix Strip bar. Council Bluffs Police and Council Bluffs Fire and rescue responded to the call. The victim was transported to a local Council Bluffs Hospital with injuries.   22. Council Bluffs, Ia -- Around 11:30 am an Omaha man wanted by the U.S. Marshalls and Sarpy County barricaded himself into an excavator at a job site. The job site was located at Kanesville Blvd across from the new YMCA. Once law enforcement arrived a call could be heard through dispatch of an officer stating they have a situation. Earlier in the day during the city councils study session Council Bluffs Chief of Police Tim Carmody said he couldn't in good faith support the Cube's license renewal. The female pedestrian was stuck at 15th and Broadway near the beginning of the viaduct in the eastbound lanes.
