  1. Omaha Police responded to a ShotSpotter alert at 3900 North 16th Street at 12:59 a.m. Wednesday. Upon arrival, officers observed two vehicles with damage from gunfire. Officers spoke with witnesses who said four or five black males dressed in dark clothing arrived on foot and began shooting. A short time later, a victim arrived at CUMC - University Campus, 2412 Cuming, with minor injuries. The victim was identified as 22-year-old Da'Marsell Miller. Miller told officers that he was in a vehicle when an unknown suspect began firing a gun in his direction. The investigation is ongoing.
  2. At around 10 pm a call came into the Pottawattamie dispatch center for a man that had been assaulted on block 100. The man was transported to the hospital and no suspect was found.
  3. Alayna Melendez was there the night felon James Skurlock attacked Jake Gardner. As a matter of fact, Alayna Melendez was the first person to attack Gardner before Skurlock did. Metro News Now has uncovered some obvious questions to be asked. According to one Channel 7 article published June 5th, 2020, Melendez made this statement to Newswatch 7's Michelle Bandur.   4. At about 1:40 p.m. a call came into Council bluffs 911 dispatch about 2 females in a disturbance at 2738 Avenue H. 911 dispatched to officers one of the females assaulted the other with a shovel. When Metro News Now arrived we spoke with a resident of the neighborhood who stated the home where the incident occurred has had a few issues in the past. The woman that's being arrested in the video below is Mahailey Ana Brown was taken to Pottatwattamie County Jail.   5. What was supposed to be peaceful George Floyd protests turned into anything but both Friday and Saturday in Omaha Nebraska. Metro News Now was present at the protests both Friday and Saturday. Both days were filled with the protesters message being drowned out by large groups of people inciting violence and committing crimes. Friday and Saturday seen protesters effecting traffic, using large amounts of city resources, attacking police with bottles and rocks, damaging businesses, damaging residential properties, not honoring private property rights, spray painting buildings and signs,

    Council Bluffs Base-Ball Bat Beating

    Around 10:45am 3-27-2020 multiple subjects were detained at 14th and Ave C in Council Bluffs Iowa for beating a individual with baseball bats. City street workers drove up on the incident and notified authorities. The individual assaulted was not transported to the hospital but sustained bruising.
