Omaha Police respond to cutting in the area of 30th and U Street

At 6:40 pm, Officers responded to a cutting in the area of 30th and U Street.  Upon arrival, officers met with a male victim who stated a male suspect approached him, displayed a knife and demanded his property.  After giving the suspect his wallet and cell phone he was then stabbed twice in the leg.  The victim was transported to Nebraska Medical Center with non life threatening injuries. 

Victim - OSMAN, Abdi  (01-01-1995)

Suspect - described as a tall, thin Sudanese male wearing dark clothing
