    Omaha Police respond to 2700 S 10 St for a shooting

     

     

    Omaha Police responded to a shooting near 2700 south 10 Street in Omaha around 1:06am. One Black male had been shot, 3 parties have been detained,

    Metro News Now spoke with Lt. Enrico Ramos with the Omaha Police Department who told us the male who was shot is in serious condition.

    This investigation is on-going and a developing story.

    UPDATED - OFFICIAL OPD NARRATIVE

    At 1:06 am Officers responded to 2723 S 10th St for a shooting. Upon arrival, Officers contacted the victim,  26 year old male, Kristopher WAYNE. WAYNE said he had been shot and appeared to have gunshot injuries. WAYNE was transported by ambulance to the Nebraska Medical Center where it was determined his injuries were non-life threatening.
