    Omaha Police has identified homicide victim


    On Thursday, June 10, 2021 at 2:19 a.m. Omaha Police responded to a ShotSpotter alert of multiple gunshots in the 5700 block of North 33rd Avenue. Officers arrived and located a male victim who had been struck by the gunfire. Officers attempted CPR until OFD medics arrived. OFD transported the victim to the Nebraska Medical Center where he later succumbed to his injuries.

    The investigation is ongoing. Anyone with information is urged to contact the OPD Homicide Unit at (402) 444-5656 or contact Omaha Crime Stoppers anonymously at (402) 444-STOP, at www.omahacrimestoppers.org or on the P3 Tips mobile app. Tips leading to an arrest in a homicide are eligible for a $25,000 reward.

    The victim has been has been identified as 15-year-old male, Cornail HILL.
