    Council Bluffs Police respond to robbery in residence at 34th and 2nd Avenue


    Council Bluffs, Ia -- 2/15/2021 Around 5 pm, Omaha Police dispatch received a 3rd party call from a caller that stated someone showed up with a signal 32 (gun) at the residence of 3449 2nd Ave and demanded a large amount of money.

    Omaha dispatch then contacted the Pottawattamie County dispatchers to report the incident.

    Council Bluffs Police responded to the incident and spoke with the people inside the home. Council Bluffs Police were able to determine that a white Suburban or GMC SUV with a white male wearing a bandana who jumped into the passenger side of the vehicle fled eastbound on second avenue.

    The vehicle or suspects were not located.

    Subjects at the residence did not speak English. 3rd party call information came from Omaha dispatch.

    Council Bluffs Police has not released an official statement on this incident.
